Dev Log #12 (August 1st - August 7th)

This week we focused bug fixes, final asset implementation and recording and editing our game trailer.

We had minor bug fixes the week we needed to fix to fix for our final build of the game. We adjusted the speed to when using the tools to make the interaction feel better as well as back end issues with our builds not fully operating. There was also time spent tweaking content to be able to have a webgl build to have the game host able on a browser

For our assets it was mainly making sure every texture was correct in the scenes and implementing the final object  like plants and clocks. We fixed some issue surrounding our wall and floor textures as well as some textures not rendering on objects. We imported our final pieces (plants, clocks and tables) to make the level more enjoyable in a viewing experience. Lastly we replaced our  old place holder graphics in the final level with complete, polished and sequenced graphics that match the story.

For the trailer we grabbed game play clips, created some story graphics and edited the video. We first recorded several different game play clips for 2 - 10 seconds and created a sequencing in order to know where to place the clips in the video. Then we created some graphics that tell the stony of how your grandson with stolen and the plot of the game. Lastly we edited all the content together in the sequencing order with some special text animations and put into background music in the trailer.
